Team Cap Wants the Avengers to Remain Free in "Captain America: Civil War"

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” begins and ends with its lead character Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans). After another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

The Turtles Regroup in Teaser Poster for "TMNT" Sequel‏

Paramount Pictures has just revealed the new teaser poster for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows,” showing the Turtles in an unexpected, non-combatant pose. With an orange sky on the background, the setting is definitely either before or after the proverbial storm.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to cinemas this summer in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell).

After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

Opening across the Philippines in June 01, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

Legendary Battle With The Most Powerful Mutant In “X-MEN: APOCALYPSE”

Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures have just unveiled eight character posters for “Warcraft: The Beginning,” the epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon.

Getting individual one-sheets are Lothar, The War Hero; Durotan, Noble Orc Chief; Blackhand, The Destroyer; Orgrim, The Fighter; Garona, The Unbroken Survivor; Gul’dan, The Invader; King Llane, The Warrior King and Lady Taria, The Queen of Hope.

The studio has also announced a new and earlier release date in the Philippines – “Wacraft” will now launch on May 25 (from the previously announced June bow.)

In “Warcraft: The Beginning,” the peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

Will less than three weeks before “Captain America: Civil War” erupts in the Philippines, Marvel Studios has released three, new video featurettes to help fans cope with the long wait.

First is the clip titled “The Past is Prelude” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Fc-qgLGQ-I) which features footage from the first Captain America and Iron Man films, highlighting the philosophical differences between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark that may have made a confrontation inevitable.

"The LEGO Batman Movie" Launches Announcement Trailer, Poster‏

The “announcement” trailer and one-sheet art for Warner Bros. Pictures' new animated comedy “The LEGO Batman Movie” have been released by the studio. The trailer may be viewed at https://youtu.be/gYXGWdL6t8I.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Will Arnett returns to voice the Gotham vigilante in the satirical spin on the classic comic book character for director Chris McKay. The screenplay is written by Seth Grahame-Smith (“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer”).

"Batman v Superman" Flies Past Half a Billion Dollars Worldwide, P200-M in PH‏

Warner Bros. Pictures’ action adventure “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” continues to win at the worldwide box office. Soaring past $500 million after only five days in theaters with a total of $501.9 million and counting, the film joins a very rare group of movies that cross half a billion dollars in their first week of release. The announcement was made today by Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of Worldwide Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

“We’re so proud that ‘Batman v Superman’ has become the must-see event film of the season for fans the world over,” Kwan Vandenberg stated. “These incredible numbers are building momentum for not only this movie, but for the upcoming slate of DC Super Hero films.”

The domestic box office total now stands at more than $193.3 million, and the international figure is $308.6 million.
