WE JUST SAW IRON FIST SEASON 2 EPISODE ONE! Promise No Spoilers!

With the guesting of Finn Jones and Showrunner Raven Metzner at the APCC (Asia Pop Comicon) Manila, it was expected that there will be surprizes the will be shown during the Netflix panel. Finn Jones even joined the Luke Cage panel just to showcase the partnership between the two defenders to team up in the future.  And with Iron Fist Season 2 set to start streamin starting September 7, 2018, Raven and Finn just dropped something spectacular for fans, a trailer for season 2 and an exclusive screening of the FIRST EPISODE of Season 2!

It was a riot moment during the panel when these were announced, they said that they did not flew a long way to Manila just to share a little tease of season 2. They also showed a video message of the other cast Jessica Henwick (Coleen Wing), which was supposed to be the guest for APCC, and Sacha Dhawan (Davos) who is currently doing a theater production. 

But on the last video by Jessica, she spilled that there will be another "clip"to be shared which was thought to be just the tease, which actually teased more about Danny's training in K'un-L'un. And one of them is the mask just like in the comics. Even with that small detail revealed so much to fans and will showcase fighting and training in the mystical city.

Now back to the  first episode is has the title "The Fury of Iron Fist" and is directed by David Dobkin. It follows the timeline after the Defenders, when Danny pursues to keep the city safe under his protection. With the Hand gone, there is a another treat that comes to take over the side of the town. Coleen is still by his side and Rand Enterprises still on his back in terms of business.

Compared to the first season, this has a better impression on me with better storytelling yet left room for mystery and introductions. The fight scenes are still impressive, and it shed its annoying "I am the Iron Fist" monologue to give way to better dialogue. Raven shares that one of the villains for this season will be Typhoid Mary which is played by Alice Eve and will also make an appearance on the first episode. Overall, it was a good start but not too explosive as many would expect. But I think its good to gradually introduce the new adventures and characters.

Iron Fist Season 2 will start streaming September 7 on Netflix.
