Riot Games’ Virtual Group Heartsteel Returns New Single “Live My Life” Out September 18

Riot Games has announced the return of League of Legends’ virtual group HEARTSTEEL with their new single “Live My Life” (Riot Games/Virgin Music Group), out September 18 at 9:00am PT. The track marks the group's first release since their 2023 breakout debut single, “PARANOIA,” which has amassed over 200M streams across all  platforms.  

HEARTSTEEL is the all-male pop collective in the growing roster of groundbreaking virtual artists within the iconic League of Legends IP. This group of dynamic daredevils reimagines beloved in-game champions as pop-stars: Ezreal (vocalist), Kayn (rapper), Aphelios (instrumentalist, songwriter), Yone (producer), K’Sante (co-leader, vocalist), and Sett (co-leader, rapper). Despite their wildly different personalities and creative styles, the six are close friends united by a shared passion for making music together.

• While partner teams receive direct entry into Kickoff, they are not guaranteed participation in future Cups and must continue qualifying through performance.

Philippines Gets its Own Gameserver for VALORANT

VALORANT’s first-ever gameserver in Manila will go live on August 19 

Riot Games has announced that its sixth gameserver for VALORANT in the Asia Pacific region is slated to launch in Manila. Set to go live with Patch 11.04 on August 20 at 5:00 AM (PHT), the Manila gameserver aims to bring better connectivity and enrich the game experience of Filipino VALORANT players.

The Manila server is expected to deliver lower ping, reduce instability, and improve overall connectivity. It hopes to eliminate many of the infrastructure-related limitations Filipino players often face when connecting to overseas servers—most notably in Hong Kong.

VALORANT’s gameserver in Manila will not affect the performance of its Hong Kong server, which has been the primary hub for Pinoy players since 2020. The game has a strong and active player base across Asia Pacific, so even if some players choose to switch to the new server, game quality and matchmaking on the Hong Kong server will stay resilient.

Riot Games revealed details for an upcoming Closed Beta for 2XKO - the anticipated 2v2 tag-based fighting game set in the League of Legends Runeterra universe. Starting September 9, 2025, the 2XKO Closed Beta will be available to fighting game fans around the world on Windows PC, followed by future availability on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X at a later date. The game will fully support cross-platform progression, as well as cross-platform inventory, allowing players to start on PC and then switch over to a preferred console platform once available with no lapse in progress or inventory.

Arcane Returns for Final Chapter this November

Today, Netflix and Riot Games released the Official Trailer, along with new images, for the Second and Final Chapter of ARCANE. 

The explosive trailer is powered by a collaboration with Ashnikko for “Paint The Town Blue,” the first single on the Arcane season two original soundtrack from Riot Games / Virgin Music Group. “Paint The Town Blue” debuted alongside the trailer today and fans can listen to the single here.

LoR’s gameplay is built around dynamic, alternating combat that demands players use their skill, creativity, and cleverness to succeed.
