Reinforcing their commitment to elevating the competitive gaming and esports scene for local grassroots gaming communities in the country, Riot Games Philippines today announced that VALORANT has partnered with Estudyante Esports in support of their nationwide campus league. In addition to a cash prize pool, VALORANT will also be covering one full semester of tuition for the winning school team–amounting to a combined prize value of nearly 1 million pesos.

Organized by Dark League Studios–the official tournament partner of the recently concluded University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Esports tournament–and poised to be the biggest campus esports event in the country, the Estudyante Esports campus league welcomes gamers from colleges and universities nationwide. The tournament includes teams hailing from schools from the UAAP and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and will feature popular game titles including Riot Games’ VALORANT and League of Legends (LoL).

FULL SENSE reigned supreme over equally competitive teams such as Fennel, Loud, Alliance, Alter Ego Esports and Reject. PGRT boasted a grand prize of ¥100 million (more or less $700,000), making it the biggest event for the game PARAVOX since its Alpha release at the Epic Store.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women's Invitational (MWI) 2024 officially announces the Group Stage schedule for the upcoming biggest MLBB esports tournament for women. Held in conjunction with the maiden Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, MWI 2024 gathers 12 international teams to showcase their gaming prowess to the world, starting 24 July, at 12:00 (GMT+3) or 17:00 (GMT+8).

The tournament will provide female players with the platform to claim the title of the best all-women MLBB team, and offers a life-changing prize pool of USD 500,000 – one of the highest-ever in women's esports history. The Wild Card Stage runs from 28 to 30 June, and the opener will feature Keep Best Gaming (KBG) and S2G Esports (S2G) on 28 June, at 11:00 (GMT +3) in a Best-of-One (BO1) series.

See You Soon made a historic win after clinching their third championship title in MPL Cambodia. In the Grand Finals held at PH Grand Wedding Hall, Euro 1, See You Soon dominated the grueling best-of-seven (Bo7) series, dismantling D-Roar Legends with a score of 4:2.
