Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is now showing in Philippine cinemas!
The latest installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise, which opened in the US and other international markets over the Christmas holidays, has earned raves from audiences and critics alike. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 currently has a Rotten Tomatoes audience rating of 96%, and 87% from critics (the highest in the series).

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which sees Team Sonic on a brand new adventure, welcomes back the franchise’s all-star cast, plus a few new additions.
“We could not be more excited,” says director Jeff Fowler. “We’ve got Ben Schwartz back voicing Sonic; Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails; Idris Elba as Knuckles; James Marsden as the Donut Lord – aka Sheriff Tom Wachowski – Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski; and the incomparable Jim Carrey in not just one, but two key roles. Robotnik’s henchman Agent Stone is once again played by Lee Majdoub. Natasha Rothwell and Shemar Moore have cameos as newlyweds Rachel and Randall. Adam Pally drops in as everybody’s favorite goofy Deputy Wade. And last but not least, our new character, Shadow the Hedgehog, is played by Keanu Reeves. It’s the best cast imaginable.”

Orion Pax in Transformers One
Reviews for Transformers One have started to come out, and reactions from critics have so far been mostly positive.
“TRANSFORMERS ONE is by far and away the best Transformers film to date,” raved a critic for Next Best Picture. “Rich in character and emotion with a deep reverence for the lore, it tells the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron, tragically transforming once from brothers to enemies. Voicing Bumblebee is an honor for Key, especially because in previous Transformers movies, the fan favorite robot didn’t have a voice. “I really enjoyed being able to give Bumblebee a voice. Over the last few movies he speaks through the radio inside the Volkswagen, which I thought was so cool,” says Key. “But now we get to imbue him with personality through his voice and I was really honored that I got the opportunity to do that.”

Directed by Cal Brunker, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie has scored well with moviegoers – mostly families with young children – who gave the film an A cinemascore. It holds an 82% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

When the movie opens, unfailingly optimistic bard Edgin (played by Chris Pine) and his best friend, the barbarian fighter Holga (Michelle Rodriguez), are locked away in the notorious prison Revel’s End, a result of the betrayal by the nefarious Forge Fitzwilliam (Hugh Grant), who took Edgin’s beloved daughter Kira to live as his ward in the great metropolis of Neverwinter where Forge installed himself as ruler.
On a mission to take back what has been lost to him, Edgin escapes together with Holga. Along the way, they are joined in their quest by an insecure sorcerer, a paladin and a Tiefling.
