Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today the North American and Philippine theatrical dates for the highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. The first film in the epic trilogy from famed animation studio ufotable will come exclusively to the Philippines on August 20, 2025, including in IMAX®. It will arrive in theaters in the United States and Canada on September 12, 2025.

The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. The latest installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise, which opened in the US and other international markets over the Christmas holidays, has earned raves from audiences and critics alike. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 currently has a Rotten Tomatoes audience rating of 96%, and 87% from critics (the highest in the series).

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which sees Team Sonic on a brand new adventure, welcomes back the franchise’s all-star cast, plus a few new additions. 

“We could not be more excited,” says director Jeff Fowler. “We’ve got Ben Schwartz back voicing Sonic; Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails; Idris Elba as Knuckles; James Marsden as the Donut Lord – aka Sheriff Tom Wachowski – Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski; and the incomparable Jim Carrey in not just one, but two key roles. Moviegoers have spoken, and they love Sonic the Hedgehog 3! 

The latest big-screen adventure of Team Sonic has earned a 96% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film, which opened in the US December 20, has so far earned upwards of $230 million at the global box office. It opens in Philippine cinemas January 15. 

Reviews from critics have also been mostly positive. “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” currently holds a Fresh 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, higher than its two predecessors.
