STAR TREK: PRODIGY beams into Southeast Asia on Apr 18, exclusively on Nickelodeon

The highly-anticipated animated series, STAR TREK: PRODIGY, warps into Southeast Asia on Nickelodeon, on April 18. The series promises to take fans on out-of-this-world adventures with its motley crew of aliens, equipped with the coolest space gadgets. If you are a longtime Trekkie, look out for Easter eggs from the Star Trek Universe peppered throughout the series! STAR TREK: PRODIGY premieres in Singapore and Thailand from April 18, weekdays at 5pm (SG) and 4pm (TH) on Nickelodeon. For fans in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, the series will premiere on April 25, airing weekdays at 7pm (MY/PH), 6pm (WIB) on Nickelodeon.

Developed by Emmy® Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (“Trollhunters” and “Ninjago”),
STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the first “Star Trek” series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the U.S.S. Protostar ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the “Star Trek” franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

Kate Mulgrew (“Star Trek: Voyager”) reprises her role as Janeway, but in hologram form for this series. Kate won’t be the only one to join the adventure - Robert Beltran will reprise his “Star Trek: Voyager” role as Captain Chakotay. Watch out for other familiar voices and other easter eggs popping up throughout the series – from Spock to Dr Beverly Crusher.

Other members of the STAR TREK: PRODIGY voice cast include Brett Gray (Dal), Ella Purnell (Gwyn), Rylee Alazraqui (Rok-Tahk), Angus Imrie (Zero), Jason Mantzoukas (Jankom Pog), Dee Bradley Baker (Murf), John Noble (The Diviner) and Jimmi Simpson (Drednok).

There’s more in store for sci-fi fans beyond holograms. Fans can feast their eyes on a staggering range of gadgets and technology in the series - from phasers and universal translators to food replicators and living armor that can transform with just a thought.

From April 25, learn more about the U.S.S. Protostar and its crew and stand a chance to win your very own crew pack on the STAR TREK: PRODIGY microsite at NickelodeonAsia.com/StarTrekProdigy
