Crunchyroll Expands Its One Piece Catalog Across Southeast Asia

Fans can experience the first 746 episodes of the legendary series on Crunchyroll, with the catalogue rolling out in two batches from September 2026.

Crunchyroll is bringing the complete ONE PIECE catalogue to fans across Southeast Asia, with the 746-episode series rolling out in two batches. The first batch, featuring Episodes 1–325, is now available, with Episodes 326–746 set to arrive on October 25, with English subtitles and dubs available across Southeast Asian territories. The series follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew on their journey across the Grand Line, featuring iconic adventures, memorable characters, and unforgettable story arcs.

The catalogue will be released in two batches:

Batch 1 – 20th September: Episodes 1–325, with English subtitles and dubs, available across SEA.

Crunchyroll announced today that Sekiro: No Defeat, the fully hand-drawn anime adaptation produced by KADOKAWA, Qzil.la and ARCH, will begin streaming as a series in January 2027. The series will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide, excluding Japan, China, Korea, Russia, and Belarus. Sekiro: No Defeat will premiere on Crunchyroll as an eight-episode series featuring additional content beyond the theatrical version currently screening in Japan. 

Crafted with reverence for the original, Sekiro: No Defeat adapts the game’s unforgettable story: a tale of loyalty, blood, and sacrifice set in a fantastical reimagining of Sengoku-era Japan. The expanded episodic format will offer audiences an even deeper experience of Wolf and Kuro’s journey.

Zach Cregger is inspired by the original video games as he creates his own terrifying world in “Resident Evil”

Teeth, tentacles, blood, and other horrors follow as the infected wreak havoc in the world of Resident Evil. Director Zach Cregger, along with his co-screenwriter Shay Hatten, and creature effects supervisor Shane Mahan came up with brand new creatures to roam around the environment. “Everything had to have a shock value and a sense of realism to play against the humor,” says Hatten.

Cregger also gave a nod to the games in creating the environment, inspired by his own experience in playing them. “If you've played the games a ton, you won't be able to help but notice some of the healing spray cans and some of the green herbs,” says Cregger.

HBO Max Releases Key Art For Max Original Comedy Series Stuart Fails To Save The Universe Debuting July 24

HBO Max new comedy series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will debut Friday, July 24. The 10-episode Max Original comedy series will be available to stream on HBO Max, with new episodes on subsequent Fridays. 

Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist & all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke. Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from The Big Bang Theory. As the title implies, things don’t go well. 

The series stars Kevin Sussman (Stuart), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), Brian Posehn (Bert), and John Ross Bowie (Barry). The series, from Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Tom Holland, who plays the dual role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, calls the film “a fresh start, where Peter Parker is experiencing something profound and unique in the super hero genre. It’s a movie about when young people find their identity and become adults. Peter is embarking upon a new chapter.” 

Director Destin Daniel Cretton says that Peter goes through many changes in the film. “A huge part of the story is watching Peter undergo an emotional and physical transformation,” says the filmmaker. “The two are linked.”

Eve Ridley wasn’t sure if she was going to hear back after her “Supergirl” audition for the role of Ruthye. She went through a series of auditions and there was a lot of time in between. 

“But then I did get the call with the news and it’s the best feeling ever,” shares the young Filipino-British actress. “It’s a feeling that you can’t describe, you know? You’re so happy and proud of yourself, but then it also takes a while to sink in. That’s when I read the comic and I did lots of research about Supergirl and her iconic look and the difference between Kara and Supergirl. And I loved it and I’m so happy that I got to be part of this amazing film.”
