Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame” Re-Release Starts July 12 at Select Philippine Cinemas

From July 12 to 14, participating theaters nationwide will hold a re-release for fans to see Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame one last time on the big screen!

For every single receipt purchase of two (2) or more Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame re-release tickets, the customer will get one (1) exclusive Avengers: Endgame poster. Customers will also be treated to a video introduction by director Anthony Russo and an unfinished deleted scene from the film. Redemption of the exclusive Avengers: Endgame poster can only be claimed in the same cinema where they purchased their re-release tickets.

SM Cinema Takes the Captain Marvel Launch to the Sky This February

SM Cinema is flying high with Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel this February as the Philippines’ largest film exhibitor kicks off its Captain Marvel campaign!

On February 14, SM Cinema launched the Captain Marvel Fan Experience at the SM City North Edsa – The Block Atrium. Marvel fans got a chance to crash-land to the world of Captain Marvel in an interactive exhibit to celebrate the movie’s coming in the Philippines.

SM Cinema put together exciting activities for mall-goers and fans alike! Walk through the asymmetrical entrance archs of the exhibit, featuring larger-than-life displays of Carol Danvers, her famous jetfighter, and her trusty sidekick Goose the cat. A few steps in and fans will be pumped up to see an incredible array of toy displays from Hot Toys and Filbar’s that will ignite the Captain Marvel fan in everyone. Highlighted in the exhibit is Captain Marvel’s personal gallery and the 180° photobooth where everyone got to show the Captain Marvel in them. At the heart of SM Cinema’s exhibit is Captain Marvel’s famous emblem, which fired up everyone’s anticipation for Marvel Studios’ latest superhero origin film. Finally, cap off the Captain Marvel Fan Experience by taking home premium memorabilia from Toy Kingdom and The SM Store.

Stars, Director of Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” Surprise Filipino Fans

Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Karen Gillan (Nebula) and director Joe Russo delighted hundreds of Filipino Marvel fans in a surprise, live digital interaction during the Avengers: Infinity War Manila Fan Event yesterday morning at the Cinema 7 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong.

Answering an open call for fans to assemble and come as their favorite Marvel character, local fans arrived in their full super hero suits, ready to take part in what was supposedly a special video recording of a message for the cast of Marvel Studios' “ Avengers: Infinity War.” But as soon as the fans shouted their line, “Avengers, we are ready for you!,” the movie screen lit up to reveal a live, digital feed from Singapore of Cumberbatch, Gillan and Russo greeting back the Filipino fans. Wild cheers and frenetic celebration ensued!

The main character of the Ultraman will  have a Meet and Greet on September 10 (Saturday) at the cinema lobby of Mall of Asia at 12:00 – 1:00pm and at SM Southmall at 5:00–6:00pm.  The meet and greet continues on September 11 (Sunday) at SM Megamall cinema lobby at 12:00-1:00pm and at SM North Edsa at 5:00-6:00pm.

Boruto - Naruto The Movie Will Be Shown Exclusively in SM Cinema!

Just I predicted, no one can resist having the awaited Naruto movie here in the Philippines. Boruto - Naruto The Movie is the timeskip several years after the great ninja war against Kaguya and the Ten Tails. Naruto is now Hokage, Saske wanders the world, and the orginal sinobi gang is either married, with kids, and/or changed careers. 

It was a good move for SM Cinemas to bring the "final" story of the Naruto series with this epic film. The movie will be shown exclusively on SM Cinemas on September 9!
