One of the things I was expecting at Summer Komikon was the exclusive Trailer of one of our friends in the Indie Komiks community, "Ang Maskot" by Makoy (Operasyon, School Run).
As many people (like me) were very fond of his comics with simple lines yet witty dialouges and unique storyline, Ang Maskot was indeed one of the comics I wish to see on the big screen. And now that the movie will be shown in Cinemalaya, I just can't wait to see it at the CCP.
Macoy's Ang Maskot the movie makes us comic artist happy that more and more people are appreciating the work and art of the people behind pinoy komiks. Ang Maskot is not the only comic of Makoy which was made into a film. Operasyon was also made into a short film called "Gatilyo" last 2010. Now lets have a sneak peek of "Ang Maskot" with this trailer.
