LEGO Robin Thrilled to Fight Crime with LEGO Batman

Sometimes a celebrity billionaire who’s trying to show off at a big gala event adopts a young orphan. It probably happens all the time, right? Well, Dick Grayson is that kid, and he can’t believe his good luck in getting a cool new dad like Bruce Wayne, with a huge empty mansion and his own personal butler.

Soon after the adoption, Batman suddenly got a kid sidekick to deal with. Where Batman is silent, serious and brooding, Robin is loud, enthusiastic and constantly bursting with excitement about getting to work with his favorite Super Hero and new dad. Coincidence?

"LEGO Batman's" Will Arnett Says `Kumusta, Philippines'

Comedian Will Arnett who voices The Dark Knight in Warner Animation Group's The LEGO Batman Movie took time to greet Filipino fans as he invited them to watch the new comedy adventure.

“Kumusta, Philippines!,” says Arnett at the start of the video, and after introducing himself, deadpans “I have to say that never in my life that I'd ever dreamed I'd be starring in my own Batman film.”

Villains of "The LEGO Batman Movie" in Graffiti-Art Posters

Fresh from last week's big reveal of the main characters in Warner Animation Group's The LEGO Batman Movie, the studio has now released the graffiti-inspired character posters of the “supporting” villains helping out major baddie The Joker.

Getting their own posters are iconic Gotham bad guys Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Poison Ivy and the Riddler.

Who's Who in "The LEGO Batman Movie"?

With barely a month before The LEGO Batman Movie opens in cinemas, Warner Animation Group has released the official descriptions of the animated film's cool characters. Get up close and personal with Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Batgirl, The Joker, Harley Quinn and Alfred Pennyworth in the following dossier.

BATMAN. A night-stalking, crime-fighting vigilante and heavy metal rapping machine. Super Hero. Master Builder. Batman is all this and much more. Equipped with a utility belt packed with Batarangs, grappling guns and other useful inventions, and backed by a Batcave full of cutting-edge vehicles and Batsuits for every occasion, Batman has sworn to forever defend Gotham City against all crooks and villains. Batman always works alone. He also has a really sweet music career going – thanks for asking.

Batman Raises Robin in New Trailer of "The LEGO Batman Movie"‏

Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled a new trailer for “The LEGO Batman Movie” during the film's Comic-Con panel last Saturday, July 16, and the studio has now made it available online at https://youtu.be/3ETpKEvEB3k.

The new trailer introduces Robin, who in this version, was mistakenly adopted by Bruce Wayne in a charity auction.

“The LEGO Batman Movie” is the animated Caped Crusader’s spinoff feature from the critically acclaimed box-office hit “The LEGO Movie.”

Will Arnett returns to voice the Gotham vigilante in the satirical spin on the classic comic book character for director Chris McKay. The screenplay is written by Seth Grahame-Smith (“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer”).
