Avatar: The Last Airbender premieres globally February 22, 2024, only on Netflix

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender is a live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series following Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.

Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko Leaves Netflix's Adapatation Of Avatar

Michael DiMartino, one of the creators of the Avatar series has recently announced that he and co-creator Bryan Konietzko has left the production. He cited that this was a difficult decision to leave the production and said that one of the main reason was the "couldn’t control the creative direction".

He did say that the production will push through however it will not be what they have envisioned. This made fans worry that it would would end up with the same fate with the The Last Airbender live action film which was critically bombarded with poor reviews especially with fans of the Avatar series.

THE LEGEND OF KORRA Trailer!

I'm so excited with the new Avatar series THE LEGEND OF KORRA. It is scheduled to be aired on 2011 and I actually talked about this a year ago. Now they have revealed the trailer for the series.  The setting had evolved with the passage of time and continuity from the original series. It has this modern look but the coolness of the element power are still preserved. 

Nick Launches new AVATAR series!

Nick just recently launched a preview of the new AVATAR series after the last airbender. This one is set 70 years after Aang saved the world. The name of the new Avatar is Korra, a rebelious teenage girl who knows how to bend three elements but is learning to Airbend. She will encounter, Aang and Katara's son, Tenzen which is an airbending sifu.

So far the project is set to air on Nickelodeon on 2011. Many people have already posted so many fan arts for the uppcoming avatar series. This would also be a challenge as people loved the animation series so much like I did. Nick also announced that this series would have a more mature feel than the last airbender but would also want to include the fun as many people enjoyed. Now a new book has opened, it will again tickle the imagination not just with the children but of all ages that I could say is very philosophical yet entertaining series I saw in my lifetime.
